Re: Appropriations Committee Members
Pledge to Vote Against 2007 Supplemental Spending for Iraq War

Dear Representative ________ / Senator _____________

In February, President Bush will submit a request for $100 billion or more in additional funds for the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I urge you, in your capacity as a member of the Appropriations Committee, to publicly pledge to vote against this supplemental spending package. As a member of the Committee, you have the chance to end the Iraq war now by ending funding for the war.

I am including a statement which you may sign to publicly pledge to vote against additional funding for the war in and occupation of Iraq.

I look forward to your response.

Sincerely,
