Picnic to raise money for Kalamazoo Nonviolent Opponents of War. We will have food, games, and music. The picnic will be at the small pavilion at Milham Park in Kalamazoo, from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The cost is $10, students $5, and children 12 and under free.
Kathy Kelly will be speaking at 7:00 pm. Kathy is a Nobel Prize nominee, and a founder of Voices for Creative Nonviolence. She will be speaking on actions to oppose US Drone warfare in Afghanistan, and its relation to the Middle East.
Directions to Milham Park Pavilion
To get to the small pavilion in Milham Park, go north on Lovers Lane past Kilgore. Turn right into the first drive, and follow it to the parking lot. You will see the pavilion next to the river on the left.
Bring table settings and lawn chair if desired.
