Walk for Peace opening vigil at the main entrance to Camp Williams and Volk Field
We will begin the walk to Fort McCoy at the conclusion of the opening vigil (approximately 8:30 a.m.).
Camp Williams is the headquarters to the 32nd Brigade Combat Team of the Wisconsin National Guard that is currently deployed to Iraq.
Registration for Walk: While not required, it will help us in planning if you let us know if you plan to join us for the walk. Please register on-line.
Parking: A small rest area is located on County Highway C about 1/4 mile from the main entrance to Camp Williams. If you are heading south on I-94, you should turn left onto County Highway C at the end of the ramp (which will take you back under the interstate). If you are heading north on I-94, you should turn right onto County Highway C (at the end of the ramp).
