In Boston, Massachussets starting at 3pm this Sunday (2/18), Kathy Kelly will give a talk at the Community Church of Boston (565 Boylston St in the 2nd-floor wheelchair-accessible Lothrop Auditorium), with music by CommUnity Voices and refreshments to follow. Her talk will be titled “The Cost of War, the Price of Peace” and will address her experiences living with trapped and impoverished people in a working-class neighborhood in Kabul, Afghanistan and in U.S. prisons to which she had been sentenced for protesting the United States drone warfare program.
