Would you like to learn how to advocate for the elimination of nuclear weapons?
Join Chicago PSR for a free workshop featuring:

  • Martin Fleck, Director, Nuclear Weapons Abolition Program at National PSR
  • Dr. Ira Helfand, an original Founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility and International Physicians’ Prevention of Nuclear War
  • Sarah Ball, RN, who as a volunteer with Voices for Creative Nonviolence has traveled to Afghanistan to visit the Afghan Peace Volunteers and the state of Georgia to protest nuclear weapons on a peace walk.
  • Ms. Ray Acheson, Director, Reaching Critical Will

Our program starts with a basic breakfast at 8:30 and ends with lunch at noon. From 9-12, participants can join in on a training workshop led by Mr. Fleck and listen to lectures by Dr. Helfand and Ms. Acheson.

At the end of the workshop, participants will have gained an understanding of the current state of global nuclear weapons issues and know how to advocate for an elimination of nuclear weapons at the national and local levels.
